The Society for Risk Management and Regulation

The Gesellschaft für Risikomanagement und Regulierung e.V. (Society for Risk Management and Regulation) was founded in June 2009 as a union of banks and associations, initiatives and auditing companies, as well as the state of Hesse. The objective of the society is to organise and promote teaching and research in risk management and regulation, especially within the financial sector, in particular through the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM).

The society supports and finances teaching and research at the FIRM, where the institute makes the results of the research available to the members and the public, as well as promoting training and further education for risk managers. A Centre for Risk Management and Regulation will be created, which will promote cooperation between universities and throughout the financial community.
